Over the holiday weekend I had some time and got around to checking out Mark Chadwick’s port of Sunflow to Processing called P5Sunflow. Really cool engine to relatively quickly render out some 3D screens using simple primitives that you can easily extend. I say relatively quickly because while the code doesn’t take very long to write, each of the below images took about 1-2 minutes to draw to the screen.

When I have more time I’ll come back to this and attempt an animation which as I understand it will easily be an overnight render.
